DONATE FURNITURE
If you would like to donate furniture to the Furniture Bank, keep in mind that the items must
be in good condition, without need of repair or cleaning. You have two options:
1. Bring your items to us. We accept donations from 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. If you call
ahead and let us know what you have, and we will have your receipt ready when you arrive.
2. Schedule our free pickup service. We can send a truck to certain areas within the Atlanta
area to pick up your furniture. We pick up in most of Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, and Gwinnett
Counties. In order to schedule an appointment, you may complete the online donation form or
call the Donations Coordinator at 404-355-8530 ext. 222.
The things we need:
 mattresses, box springs, bed frames
dressers, chests, armoires, mirrors, night stands, tv stands
dining tables and chairs
cribs, changing tables, highchairs
buffets, hutches, china cabinets
coffee tables, sofa tables, end tables
sofas, loveseats, armchairs, ottomans
lamps, kitchenware, linens, microwave ovens
The things we do not take:
anything torn, stained, broken, or structurally unsound
desks, file cabinets, office furniture
outdoor furniture
large appliances
pianos
game tables
exercise equipment
hospital beds
waterbeds
knick-knacks
light fixtures, window treatments, carpeting
computers
books, clothing, toys, car seats, strollers, playpen
large entertainment centers

DONATE MONEY
Monetary Contributions are necessary for the Furniture Bank to fulfill its mission. Currently it
costs the Furniture Bank approximately $300 to provide household furniture to a family. Costs
include operating trucks to pick up furniture donations and a large warehouse to store and
display furniture where clients can pick up their items.
