Chairish the Future  •  March 10, 2012

Chairish the Future began as an annual event in 1993 and is a vital source of funds for the Furniture Bank. Chairish calls local and regional artists to transform unfinished chairs and other home furnishing into works of art. These unique, amazing pieces along with other priceless items are auctioned at the gala.

In years past the Furniture Bank has had tremendous support from the local and national business community including Rooms to Go, IKEA, Cbeyond, and Publix Supermarkets Charities, Inc. Mama said don't jump on the bed, but at the Atlanta Mattress 500, we aren't just going to jump on them, we are going to race them!

The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta's held its First Annual Atlanta Mattress 500 in November of 2011 in Atlantic Station. Teams of five, four bed pushers and one bed rider competed to raise awareness and funds for the Furniture Bank.
